Relationships Australia Tasmania offers free counselling in a safe and confidential space to support you in your journey toward healing and recovery.

Have you been affected by child sexual abuse in an institution?

Relationships Australia Tasmania offers free counselling in a safe and confidential space to support you in your journey toward healing and recovery.

We are also here to help families and friends of victim-survivors, and anyone else directly or indirectly impacted by the Tasmanian Government’s Commission of Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse in Institutional Settings.

Who is this service for?

This service supports both children and adults who have been affected by institutional child sexual abuse.

We also encourage and welcome family, carers, and friends of the victim survivors, and personnel associated with institutions or the Inquiry, who may have been impacted by the Tasmanian Government’s Commission of Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse in Institutional Settings.

There is no referral required.

In addition to individual counselling sessions, we also offer trauma informed group sessions that include activities such as art, music therapy and mindfulness.

This program is free and funded by the Tasmanian Government as part of the response to the Tasmanian Government’s Commission of Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse in Institutional Settings.
