Declaration for Forgotten Australians

The Declaration for Forgotten Australians reads: Relationships Australia Tasmania (RA Tas) recognises and supports all Forgotten Australians. Forgotten Australians are the estimated 500,000 people who grew up in institutions and out-of-home care during the last century, separated from their families, often abused, denied education and deprived of food, medical attention and love. RA Tas recognises that many Forgotten Australians live with trauma, ill-health, isolation and other difficulties. RA Tas is committed to assisting and supporting Forgotten Australians through our Find & Connect Support Service. We are committed to working respectfully and sensitively with all Forgotten Australians who seek our assistance, providing a service that is non-judgemental and friendly.
