Introducing GriefCare Tasmania

Today marks an important milestone for Relationships Australia Tasmania with the launch of GriefCare Tasmania.

Grief, bereavement and loss are experiences that touch us all, yet finding the right support during these times can often feel overwhelming.

GriefCare Tasmania has been created to make that journey easier by providing a dedicated statewide pathway to compassionate, professional support. Whether someone is grieving the death of a loved one, navigating a significant life change, or experiencing another form of loss, the service helps connect people with the right support, at the right time.

We’re proud to work alongside our partners, including Albie House, whose expertise in supporting people bereaved by suicide is an important part of this connected statewide service.

This launch reflects a shared commitment to making grief support more accessible for Tasmanians and recognises the dedication of our counselling and support staff, partners and collaborators who have helped bring this service to life.

If you or someone you know is experiencing grief or loss, support is available.
