Mental Health First Aid: Engaging Leaders is a 90-minute information session designed for leaders, managers and people who influence workplace culture.

The session provides an introduction to Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and explains how training can help workplaces better support their people.

What you’ll learn

You’ll learn:

  • how to recognise some of the signs that a person may be experiencing a mental health problem;
  • how leaders and managers can respond and support employees;
  • how the workplace can affect people’s mental health;
  • what a mentally healthy workplace can look like;
  • how Mental Health First Aid training can support a workplace culture where people feel comfortable talking about mental health; and
  • about the roles of MHFAiders and MHFA Officers in the workplace.

You’ll also get an overview of what employees learn through the full 12-hour Mental Health First Aid training course, so you can understand how the training could benefit your organisation.
