Boundaries and Expectations | in-person

The Boundaries Workshop is a free 1.5 hour workshop designed to support people who want to better understand and set healthy boundaries in their relationships and everyday life.

This practical and welcoming session explores what boundaries are, why they matter, and how they can support stronger, more respectful relationships. You’ll have the opportunity to reflect on your own values and expectations, consider where boundaries may be needed, and learn simple, practical ways to communicate them clearly.

In the workshop, we’ll look at how to recognise your own limits and understand the needs of others. We’ll explore how boundaries can support wellbeing, reduce conflict, and build healthier connections at home, work, and in the community. You’ll also learn strategies for managing situations where boundaries are challenged, and how to maintain them in a consistent and confident way.

This workshop is funded by the Family Relationship Centre – an initiative of the Australian Government.
