Find and Connect

The Find & Connect service helps people who spent time in children’s homes, institutions, foster care, or were a ward of the state before 1989 to explore their past and reconnect with what matters to them.

We offer a safe, free and confidential space where you can get support, counselling and guidance as you explore your past.

Our team can help you understand your history, access personal records and, where possible, reconnect with family. We can also connect you with peer or group support if that feels right for you. You can take things at your own pace, and we will support you with care, respect, and understanding.
