Albie House Suicide Bereavement Groups

Albie House offers free suicide bereavement groups where you can connect with others who have experienced loss through suicide and understand what you’re going through.

Our groups are non-clinical, designed to provide a space where you can talk openly, feel supported, and take things at your own pace.

What to expect:

  • We’ll meet with you one-on-one first, to understand what support feels right for you
  • Groups are small (up to 10 people), so everyone has space to feel heard
  • Groups are led by people with lived experience, with a clinical support person available
  • Conversations are gently guided, with time for sharing and listening
  • You can attend for as long as you need, there’s no pressure

Come along, listen, or share, whatever feels right for you. There’s no expectation, just a space where you can be supported by people who understand.

Albie House is part of the GriefCare Tasmania pathway, a caring network of services here to support you through grief, loss and bereavement.

GriefCare Tasmania offers a simple, single point of contact so you don’t have to navigate this alone. Whatever your situation, we can help connect you with the right support that feels right for you.
