Redress Support Service
The Redress Support Service helps people who experienced child sexual abuse in an institution before July 2018 access the National Redress Scheme with care and guidance.
We provide a safe, confidential space where you can feel heard, respected, and supported as you navigate the Scheme.
Our team can meet with you in person, by phone, or through outreach. We offer guidance on the application process, assistance with documentation, emotional and practical support including counselling, and referrals to free legal, financial, or specialist services if needed.
Across Tasmania, the service is delivered by Relationships Australia Tasmania, Sexual Assault Support Service, and the South East Tasmanian Aboriginal Corporation who work together to offer choice of service to people engaging with the Scheme.
