Find and Connect

The Find & Connect service helps people who spent time in children’s homes, institutions, foster care, or were a ward of the state before 1989 explore their past and reconnect with what matters to them.

We offer a safe, free and confidential space where you can receive personalised support, counselling and guidance as you explore your past.

Our team can help you understand your history, access personal records and, where possible, reconnect with family. We can also support you to connect you with peer or group support through the YourPlace group, if that feels right for you. You can take each step at your own pace, and we’re here with care, respect and understanding as you make sense of your story and the connections that matter to you.
