ACORN is a free children’s counselling service for anyone in Tasmania aged 5-18 years. It is for children or young people who have experienced or witnessed family violence.

About the ACORN Program

This program is a counselling service for children aged between 5 and 18 years who have experienced or witnessed family violence. We assist in developing a family care plan by working with all family members, aiming to support the child.

Additionally, this program offers case management and provides warm referrals to other programs and services for parents.

There are no fees to access this service. The ACORN program has been generously supported by the Australian Government, Department of Social Services.
