RA Tas is looking for a qualified, dedicated and experienced Practitioner within our Family and Community Services team in Launceston. The primary purpose of the position is to work alongside clients who access the Parenting Separately (POP) service, with the aim of identifying and developing useful strategies to deal with challenges relating to co-parenting situations and to improve communication between parents to best support children’s needs.

Do you fit the bill?

  • Do you have a degree in Social Work, Psychology or equivalent tertiary qualifications that are recognised to deliver therapeutic counselling services
  • Do you have the ability to communicate and engage with children and young people therapeutically and to assist clients with a broad range of intellectual abilities, motivational levels, and health profiles, and from a range of socio-economic backgrounds
  • Are you passionate to uphold the best interests of children during separation
  • Do you have the ability to work within and positively advance the mission and values of Relationships Australia Tasmania
